This project transformed a "blank slate" property, with both wooded and grass areas, surrounding an existing Cedar Deck House into a cohesive outdoor environment shaped by the existing landform, natural stone masonry, and mixed plantings. Granite steps, stone paths, and paver walks and patios guide you through the landscape. Layers of diverse plantings, both native and specimen, soften the hardscape and provide color, texture, and seasonal interest. Careful attention was given to make sure the design to feels organic and integrates the home into the surrounding land.
